Harassment of any kind—including verbal, sexual, physical, and psychological—will not be tolerated. If you or someone else experiences harassment, please report it to event staff or the authorities.
Cosplay General Guidelines
1. There are no restrictions on cosplay genres.
2. If your costume resembles military, para-military, or law enforcement attire, please be aware of public perception. We strongly advise you to include indicators on the cosplay to show that it is a costume, so that it does not accidentally cause public alarm. This applies to other cosplays that bear the risk of causing public alarm.
3. If your costume obscures your face, security may ask you to remove the obscuring item.
4. Costumes that are oversized or have protruding features should be worn with caution to avoid accidents.
5. The event staff reserves the right to ask any attendee to leave the event area or request the attendee to change out of costumes that are deemed inappropriate but not limited to, e.g. indecent exposure (public exposure of genitalia), make cause for public alarm (terrorist wearing a suicide vest), etc.
6. Please do not engage in sexually suggestive poses or actions that make cause for public alarm, to avoid misunderstandings.
Prop / Replica Weapons Policy
1. No real weapons are allowed.
2. If you are bringing replica weapons, please transport them in a covered bag and only take them out within the event area, in order to avoid misunderstandings.
3. Anything that is able to discharge a projectile should be made safe. This include functional bows and crossbows with tensioned strings. Nerf guns should be unloaded and/or batteries removed.
4. Metal replica weapons are not permitted, regardless of length or blunt edges.
5. Replica firearms must have orange-tipped muzzles. Spot checks of replica weapons will be made.
6. Carry replica weapons non-aggressively; only pose aggressively with them for photos if necessary. Avoid shouldering rifles, fingers inside trigger guards, swords raised, etc. If possible, carry firearms with your fingers away from the trigger and pointed downwards, and weapons sheathed.
7. Upon leaving, keep replica weapons concealed to avoid alarming the public and/or causing misunderstandings.
Additional Guidelines
1. While attendees can socialize in the event area, do not block pathways or exits. The event staff reserves the right to ask you to move if necessary.
2. Please dispose of trash properly in dustbins.
3. Everyone is responsible for maintaining a safe environment; if you spot anything that you think is out of place, please let our event staff know, or if the situation warrants it, please contact the authorities.
4. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the event without a refund, or if the situation warrants, offenders may be handed over to the relevant authorities.
Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation!
